John Orozco's missteps cost US Gymnastics team, but Bronx teen ...




Bronx native John Orozco is turning out to be one of the American stars of this year's Olympics and State Senator Rubén Díaz, Sr. wants everyone to know that it took a lot of hard work to help the young athlete get the gymnastics classes he needed


As seen in GCH's new video, it was not an easy road to London for the 19-year-old Olympian.


So, yeah, John Orozco is the righting national champion, ranked fourth to compete in the All-Around Men's Gymnastics competition at the Olympics on.


The team finals for men's gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics were filled with drama after a nail-biter of a finish.


It could not be worse, or so it seemed, until John Orozco answered with a 12.733 despite not falling, a score so low it essentially ended the Americans' hopes for gold after just two of six rotations. When Orozco fell on the vault two rotations later
